What goes into a good goalie?
according to SIM rankings should be #1 and #2
Kab B.Holder GK 26 11 6 2 10 6 1 4 R 20 -- 470.5
Nash A.Raja GK 23 11 5 7 5 2 0 6 R 22 -- 469.8
well Holder ranks #35 (dead last) in Save average, with a lousy .636. Though
his rebound averge is #2. Raja is 15th.

it look like a bit of a random spattering, as the bottom ones don't look too
much different. except I have #21 and #23.

In my case I'm actually playing better this year then when I won 30 games last
year EXCEPT for some reason I can't explain
Hope was a .769 last year and Holder was a .762
So I'm wondering, why pay anything for a goalie if it's this random?

Wow...that Belence guy (#18) looks pretty pathetic, but still has a .728
Interesting...

I honestly have no idea how goal keeping works.
It seems so random although surely it can't be that way.

I won the EFA a couple years ago with Belance as my keeper, and he wasnt close
to the best keeper in the league . . .
I seriously think that your keeper's success is largely dependent on your
defense; a strong defense limits the number of good shots your keeper has to
face. A bad defense is going to allow a lot of good shots, and no matter how
good your keeper is, he is going to allow some of those shots by.

That would make sense, the weaker the defense the more tough saves have to be
made etc...

Yeah, it would sense a team isn't giving up many shots, I guess the tough ones
would be the only ones getting by.

you can check...
I like to see at least a 50% on TOUGH saves and about 90% on NORMAL.
Last season in EFA I was #1 in shots allowed, and 2nd to LAST in save
percentage. It's really frustrating.
