I lost today DEL CUP final, which I'm OK with... but this is going to be my
last soccer season this stuff with Free Man defense I've brought up before.
41 tackle attempts, 70 block attempts? for one guy. Free Man defense is
broken. This one man defense stuff is a bit much. He covers both forwards
when passed too, he covers midfielders when they bring the ball upfield

Lets see what Porges does:
1) He covers my one forward Baker on all throw ins and passes to him.
and
2) he also covers my Midfielder Mohammed on passes to him.
and
3) and defends midfielder Mohammed when he tries to dribble the ball upfield
and
4) recovers passes that are cleared by other defenders at midfield, after any
other defender happens to do something on rare occasion.
so he covers two differnet players, whether passed too or bringing the ball up
or and recovers defensive rebounds at midfield?
the worst part is... he's nothing special.

whats also bizzarre- if this guy is so good why don't I pass to my other
forwards?

Can't argue with that! 41 tackle attempts and you would be sent off with at
least two warnings in real life. Of course you would get sent off long before
you reached 41 even if the tackles where good, just due to dives.

or at least a fatigue difference.
Currently all guys fatigue at exactly the same rate. It was evident by the
last world cup watching guys run out fo gas that fatigue is an issue.
A guy making 41 tackle attempts should at least be tiring faster than the
other Defender who made zero.

I realize soccer is the least busy game, and Andy is busy- but I hope on the
list of upgrades it's getting near the top.

Every sport has some odd thing like this . . .
Its annoying, but Ive just learned to accept it. Free Man has it's drawbacks
too-you just need to have two good strikers on the field and a couple good
passers :-)

Did you see the two strikers I had in there?
they were both pretty sharp

But for some reason I can't quite figure, almost nothing went to Ference at
all.
I'd have to guess he was covered by the better defender, but it's hard to
say. Some games it seems like one of my forwards just goes along for the ride.
HMMMM... that gives me a new idea.
