simple question-

are more goals scored in the 2nd half? (too lazy to figure that out for myself)
or does it just seem that way?

I have no numbers to back me up, but it does seem that way to me.

Perhaps a matter of fatigue? Someone told me that the soccer sim uses the same
framework as the hoops sim; assuming that is true, it would make sense. In the
b-ball sim, defense seems to suffer more from fatigue then offense.

A purely intuitive view, of course . . .

Goalies don't show fatigue from game to game..

but wonder if they get tired in the second half?

Well their "rst" level goes down like other players.

Also-at least from my way of thinking, your defenders are as important in
stopping goals as the keeper. If your defenders are tired (or if they just
arent that good), they will be allowing opponents to take more good shots. No
matter how good the keeper is, eventually some of those shots will get through.

I tried to sub a goalie for "fatigue" and he didn't come out.

usualy the first half of the game is played with early normal tactic.
afterwards most of the teams start playing heavy offense when losing. this
increases the number of shots and the number of goals.
