was something changed about veterans playing in the juniors?
I remember it being talked about, but was their any thing done to keep older
players out of juniors?

no, we need majority to do changes, and two people reacted, and you were
against it.

I wasn't against it- I was just against it happening in the middle of the
season.
If it is going to be changed, now is the time- if not I'll probably have a
number of older guys on my minor team again.

we didn't get much reaction on that. so it would probably stay the same. but i
hope you know that you'll suffer later because you don't have a young team to
replace this one.

Serge-
I've been wondering about that, I realize the value of a minor league team in
other sports, but right now I can't see it as well.
there is so much talent on the waiver wire, and I don't want to pay some young
guy who won't develop into an AA player a salary.
If I can get a guy with a "minors" salary who can become a player great, but
I'm not going to carry a bunch of FF losers.....

well, my team is full futur AA players that are getting paid minor salaries. we
started at the same time. but i can understand your point. i am not saying that
this is bad. i am just saying that it will hurt your budget one day.

It's not your fault, but being used to drafts in other leagues
guys like this
1239 J.Canariato MF 0.04 0.00 0.04 1 0.63 0.24 minor-6
I guess you just wait for them to be free agents? or did you actually make a
.04 bid on them?

I sent an email to IOFA, and am going to implement some rules about the minor
league, and Serge and I might do that soon with EFA as well

well, i can't really discuss my GM tactics on a general board, but i don't use
one way to do it. some players are worth some efforts, and others no. some can
wait, and others no. one the waiver wire players list comes out, i copy all of
it, and study the players one by one. what they did? what can they do? are they
getting better? waivers wires take me at least 24hours of preparation.

AJ,
I've done both in order to get farm club material. That is, I've got them off
the FA list and made small waiver wire bids.
