my opponent is really attacking down the left side....
Haggin 1/18 tackle. 3/13 block
Regan 1/4 tackle. 2/9 block
Degenaars 0/1 tackle, 0/19 block
what happens on all the times they got by O'Conner? Shouldn't Haggin and Regan
had a bunch of action too? These are 10 tackle guys. Why don't they get
involved?
Is it because they have speeds of 2 and 3?

I usually put my speedy guys on the side L/R and my slower guys in the Middle,
that might explain why for you.

The point was they got past the MF then the DF's on that side do what?
I guess move out of the way-
A guy dribbling down the left side should be challenged by my MF and with a 5
man backline playing heavy defensive at least 2 DF's before getting a shot off.

when your players' posture is defensive and your opponent's FDs don't have the
dribbling option, his MFs will dribble your MFs and pass it to FDs who will
shoot directly without a challenge. there is one stat that don't appear in the
game's description, and that is interceptions. maybe you were intercepting most
passes from opponent's MFs to FDs which doesn't leave much tackles and blocks
to do defense wise.
