Ive noticed in my scrimmages and in the one game so far-my team seems to be
very "left-handed". Defenders and midfielders on the left side seem to get a
lot more touches then the ones on the right. Switching the alignment of the
players doesnt seem to matter, whoever is on the left side seems to get more
touches.
-Is this good, bad, or not an issue?
-Assuming its bad, what would cause this?

I don't think it's bad, it's just your strategy. that means that your players
there are asked to do more thing. When you go to coaching option, you choose
who driblles shoot, pass and move up the field etc... am sure if you go and
check it up, a few of your players playing on the left side have many of those
options checked ;)

That makes sense . . . now let me follow this logic out:
If I wanted to have a more "right handed" team, I should switch the
passers/handlers to the left side;
If I wanted to use both sides equally, I would have to adjust who the
passers/handlers were so they were more spread out;
If I wanted to use a "wingers" type attack, I would need to put the
handlers/passers on the wings;
and, if I wanted a more "central" attack, I would want to move the
handlers/passers to the middle.
Do I have that about right?

No, then you would have to have solid players and the right hand side, and give
them a lot of responsibilities i.e shooting passing, move up the field etc...

yup, you got a wooping 3 out of four. I would also add that you shouldnt forget
the shooting option. Usually, any player on my MF with 5 Shouting or more, i
give him the shooting option.
