are these guys listed Right to Left? or is that just roster order??
My concern is making sure my L guys are on the left and my R guys on the right.

actualy, if this is the playing roster, you should go in the players option
menu, andd make sure that the minimum rest to play is lower than their rest
level and you can chose there which will play on which side too.

it seemed even in Zone after several pro-type scrimmages the defender who was
5th on the list got almost no tackle or block attempts- thought that was odd

Just to make sure I am reading this right:
DF: 3039 Lin, 3040 Collins, 3041 DeBourbon, 3042 Meyrelles,
Lin would be on the outside right, Collins inside right, DeBourbon inside left
and Meyrelles outside left. Correct?
Also-if I select "middle" for a players side preference, where would he play?

you can divide the field into four section on the width
Right-------Middle-----middle------left (DF)
Right-----------Middle-------------Left (MF)
OR
Right-------Middle-------Middle----Left (MF)
and the same goes for forwards
