I'm never sure weather I should set a player like this to shoot pass or handle
sense he should be able to do all well.
I'm playing long passes most of the time.
I have 1 defender set as a handler and all 3 of my midfielders.
My forwards have handling ability but I don't see any point setting them to
handle.
Basically, should I have that many handlers?

This is a great question. When going through my team I have midfielders that
are above 8 with ball control and passing rating and I list them in both
settings. I flip between long ball and ball control so I am hoping the sim
adapts based on the situation for each player.
But, if you do not want to do that I would go with your player's strongest
ability which is handling.

If its up to me, i would put him shooting, passing AND handling.
