Q: How does PK-line-2 come out for 9:34 and PK-line-1 only play 2:57 when the
Line Usage option for both lines is set to 'less'?
A: It happens when: 1) A player on line-1 has a rest level in the 70s from the
previous game. And yes, the reserve line player that could have played for him
was uninjured and not in the penalty box. 2) A player on line-1 is in the
penalty box. And yes, the reserve line player that could have played for him
was uninjured and not in the penalty box. 3) It's just random. Line-2 gave up
two goals despite being on the ice with one of their players in the penalty
box... and the listed reserve player was injured before the game. So who was
on the ice? The comparable player from line-1 filled in on line-2.
Comment: Why not use line-1 more frequently with the reserve player in place
of the guy with the fatigue injury? Isn't that what reserve-line players are
for?

Actually, I thought the reserves only filled in for injuries or
penalized/ejected players.... I could be wrong but I thought I read that
somewhere.
