Anybody noticed any odd man rushes at all in hockey lately? I have watched all
of my play-by-plays this season and have not seen anything but 2-2 or 3-3
rushes. You would think someone might be out of position now and then wouldn't
ya? ;)

Ya well Eddie that is par for the course in DEL Hockey. I think they should
widen the nets a little, maybe then our guys would actually hit them and stop
the 34-4 shot games. Oh well we have come along way, but not quite there yet.
:P

I have seen some 2 on 1's in the SMFHL this year and even scored on one.

Ok so they do exist I went to the SMFHL and saw a couple. But perhaps they
should happen a little more often. In a typical NHL game there are at least a
couple of odd-man rushes per game and right now I am not seeing many at all.
Seems like 95% of all rushes are even strength. Long passing and fast skaters
should generate a few more odd man rushes IMHO.

Here you go, a 2-on-1 rush in ECHL.
Barbee and VanEngel get 2-on-1 (Pacilio defending).
Barbee advances puck (Slot).
Barbee shoots ...
Barbee gets it past Hubert! GOAL!!!
VanEngel and Onda pick up assists.
Barbee just got a hat trick.
