How or what exactly drives the figure at the top of the team roster page which
shows total Payroll (including minors). I have spent hours trying to work it
out, but cannot get the figure at the top of the page.
Any ideas??

I havn't checked in a long time, but when I did check in the past it went like
this. Lets take the following lines as an example:
Num Name Pos Salry Bonus Value-Yr Reneg-Yr-PerY
1587 S.Tiritilli C 3.20 1.92PR 6.40 6 6.40 - 1.00
81 K.McPeak C 1.40 0.84PR 2.80 1 5.50 3 0.86 unsigned
494 T.Torres C 2.23 1.33PR 4.45 1 4.56 3 0.73 unsigned
269 E.Bradley C 1.36 0.81PR 2.71 1 ----- -- 0.85 unsigned
Hopefully that aligns well. But I would add the Salary and Bonus together for
the players. The only exception is someone who is signed to .10 or something
and he gets paid depending on his age. Usually the older guys getting paid .1
actually make .52 but it says this on the page aswell. So once i add all the
salary and bonus, I then add the minor league salaries and get team payroll.

OK, So take my Islanders in the IOHL
Salary = $38.48
Bonus = $23.03
Minor $5.32
Bonuses of cut players = $4.10
Total = $70.93M
Figure on roster page for team payroll = $73.13
Difference of $2.2M
Im looking at trading, but is difficult to do when trying to keep within the
budget cap when you cant work out how much you can afford.

Actually when I take your IOHL Islanders I get:
Salary: 42.54
Bonus: 23.03
Minors: 5.32
Cuts: 2.24
Total = 73.13
Which is Exactly what the team roster page says.

Damn, yeah I see it now.
Its the players signed for 0.04 or some small amount like that the threw me.
Cheers Matt, appreciate your help on that.
