Does anyone know if the sim uses any 'soft' real life factors
when determining the outcome of games.

The two I am interested in are season 'wear-and-tear'
and 'momentum'.

I have a goalie who for two years has shone through the first
3/4 of the season but started giving up lots of goals in
the last 1/4. I like to attribute it to the season
wear-and-tear on a player, but have no clue if that is even
a factor in the sim.

The other factor I am curious about is team momentum, where
we may win 7-8 games in a row, and score a load of goals
then the momentum slows and we lose a few afterward and can't
score many goals.

The reality is likely this is all statistical modeling.
Just wondering if anyone has any insight into these 'soft'
factors.
