So I'm down to my last pre-recruiting cut for ECHL.
I'm Maine for those of you who like to look at rosters before commenting.
Trying to figure out who to cut between these two:
1950 A.Schneider 5 5 3 1 1 2 5 13 22 -4 -0.81 100 LW So -- *- D D W
1662 G.Loftus 4 2 2 3 5 4 1 6 0 0 0.00 100 LW Fr -- -- D C W
If I keep Loftus, he's a redshirt project. Schneider would be in the mix for
the 3rd / 4th wing job.

Of course, you could always cut both of them. =)
I would probably wait until after invites to see how visits line up before
making this kind of difficult cut. I didn't look at your roster, but for me
the relevant issues are: 1) keeping relatively equal number of players in each
class, so does an extra sophomore fit the plan? 2) if you need a #3/#4-line
player this season, and you cut the sophomore, who else will fill that need? it
may be a player you haven't recruited yet, and/or it might be a freshman you
could have otherwise redshirted. 3) the freshman is more likely to develop
into a better player, but that will take longer; can you wait for that to
happen?
