Figuring out your team chemistry in the college games is pretty simple; it
seems to be not so simple in the pros.
My EFA team (Buckland Celtic) is one of the most talented teams in the league,
and yet we are performing miserably. My team chemistry is poor, and Ive been
trying to a) figure out how much chemistry is causing our bad play and b) what
effects pro team chemistry.
I have several guys on my team with bargain contracts, guys I plucked off
waivers for a minimum contract. Heres an example:
212 C.Margarone GK 0.04 0.00 0.04 1 ----- -- 0.81
Im wondering if these good players playing for nearly no money, are causing the
low chemistry-especially guys like Margarone, who are starters.
Any thoughts from anyone? There doesnt seem to be anything in the help pages
about it . . .

In the pros the greater the number of FAs you bring in and the more trades you
make the lower the team chemistry. Nothing else affects it.

Over the past few seasons I've worked to raise my team chemistry, but I've
never gotten past "good" and am usually stuck on "moderate". I try to sign no
more than 2 non-rookie free agents per season, even if it means carrying a
weaker roster, but I just can't seem to get to excellent. At least not yet.
In any case, if you want to raise your team chemistry try to sign as few
non-rookies per season as you can. I'm not sure how trade effect TC however.
Now for my rant. Two things trouble me about TC.
#1) It's really hard to tell how TC effects your team. Does it affect some
attributes more than others? I wouldn't want to know exactly how much, but some
general idea would be helpful.
#2) I've seen coaches sign around 8-10 free agents in a season and still pretty
much maintain a "poor" ranking. Meanwhile, other coaches sign around 4 FAs and
they are also ranked "poor".
In other words, I think the ranking levels should be shifted around a bit. It
should be easier to have both a lower and higher TC ranking.
