There is also a new football league with an old name, the EFL is for coachs
with 3 years or less experience in DEL pro football.
Come see why the football leagues are always full and competitive!

I joined up. Wanted to try my hand at it again. Plus, having Ryan as the comish
was a plus. He was a fair minded comish in DBL.

Thrilled to see all the new coach additions. Was hopeing we'd have more than a
few...lol.

Man...waiver wire prep takes much longer than in baseball. Then again, there
are double the players in football that make your team. This should be fun,
especually with the Oakland owner (figures) named "I Own You All."

i'm thinking about joining - but i feel like i'd have to cut back from 4
baseball leagues to 1 MAYBE 2. the football sim seems complicated. but i'm
considering...

Joseph.....

I played it like three calander years ago I think. It was fun. I think it is
more challenging than baseball, but since I have my baseball team playing well
and know that sim, I feel it is time to try my hand again at football. But yea,
it is harder I think. That's why this new league of new owners appealed to me.
All starting on relative equal footing.

Oh, and a FYI for ya. The only listed "available teams" left are New England
and San Fran.

Well I'm a New England fan so it must be a sign. I've never played the football
sim before. Might as well give it a shot. At least if i start with a bad team
there can't be high expectations right

Frank....yes, must be a sign. LOL.

Also, I do believe with trimming of rosters that all teams start off sorta bad.
You could emulate real life, building the Pats into a three time Super Bowl
team!

Yeah i just glanced at the roster...only 10mil of cap space...and i don't know
the sim yet...but i would think at least 1 A' rated player would be on the
offense...nope, but there are 4 b's 2 are guards but hey its not about
winning, its a business right

Right, it is a business. For the record, I have 5 B's and 1 A rated player in
Minnesota. Now, those grades are nice to find players at a glance, but some B's
(and on occasion C's) are better than some A's and the same can be said for
many C's when compared to many B's. So, I do not really take those ratings to
heart much.

I personally enjoy building a team from scratch (from the ground up) into a
winner. This is the most exciting time, setting my "team philosophy" on offense
and defense and then trying to start building the foundation of what's to come.

Personally, on my team the only players I expect to be around in 3 or 4 seasons
(when I plan on being playoff bound) are:

Num Name Pos Ag Sp Wt Rs Ps PB RB In St Tr In Spec Rating
  459 P.Brown TB 26 4 1 10 5 2 4 8 10 20 -- ------ A A TB
   54 W.Cazort C 31 0 5 2 2 5 8 6 10 23 -- ------ C C OL
  738 R.Williams OG 30 2 4 4 2 9 7 5 6 23 -- ------ C C OL
 1926 B.Hare SF 26 10 2 8 2 1 1 3 7 22 -- ------ B B SF
  528 C.Gonzalez CB 28 6 4 2 10 1 1 5 3 23 -- ------ B B CB

And....really.....some of these guys are a stretch and may not be there.
Brown....he will for sure. The only thing I don't like about him is he is a bit
on the light end and a bit slower than I'd like. But, since I have so many
other holes to fill (just like everyone else) he'll be my guy for the next
number of years.

Really exited to see you guys play.
Starting a league is realy neat, just be careful with spending too much at
first. Football takes many parts to win and not just a few stars, I didn't
calculate finances correctly so I been there, done that, lol.
Hopefully we get this thing filling up soon.

Correct me if I am wrong....but isn't it full? I know a lot of coaches have the
"N" by their name.

Also....I have a three year plan. That's probably how long it'll take me to
learn the sim....lol. Most of the guys I am going after I am inking to 3-yrs or
under if I get them. So, if I screw up, it doesn't screw up my 3-year plan.

My team is seriously lacking in talent...I need to spend. I do not believe I am
going to build up a bank roll like I did in baseball....but time will tell.

I am excited to see the results after I return from work almost as excited as I
am for the NFL draft.

It should be fun, some guys havent logged in yet but the league is currently
full.
Some of the best looking receivers I've ever seen on the wire.
