I was just wondering if there is any point to a team's chemistry? I have seen
teams in the pro baseball leagues with consistently POOR team chemistry, but
yet they still seem to dominate- how can this be? Does your team's chemistry
really not matter at all as far as winning goes? Why bother having such a
listing if it does not make a difference playing and winning wise?
Thanks,

I couldn't tell ya, I have had championship teams with bad chemistry, & I have
had bad teams with excellent chemistry, dunno what it really does. I'm sure it
factors in your teams success somehow, just probably a small amount compared to
other factors.

I think I read somewhere that the team chemistry in the pro leagues accounts
for the comings and goings of players. Cutting, free agents, changing team
captains, etc... If you have a team that doesn't have a ton of turnover then
your chemistry will climb higher.
That's how I look at it at least. I doubt it has much bearing on the success
of the team. Maybe in the long run, but not from season to season.

Chemistry affects play as well. But not as much in the pros.
In football, I think about it as 1/2 point of int/chemistry level difference.
In Baseball, I count it as batting .005 better.
