Hello
In eafl the discussion is high again about a hard cap and advantages and
disadvantages. There are some people who said they would join a hard cap legue.
So i think it would be a cool idea to add such a league.

But i dont know if it would be possible to make all these changes in rules.
Maybe we could collect some ideas about the rules first and see how many
coaches have really interest to join such a league. And we could listen what
andy means. Brainstorming?
bye MJ

I'd join.
When Andy D. ran EAFL it wasn't a hard cap- but if you were over budget he cut
your players for you. That was rather interesting.

Now watch all the coaches who don't like the idea, come to this board and flame
as oppose to just staying off of it.

I like a cap, but more like the NBA's cap which isnt so hard. You can get over
cap by trades and re-signing players.....but you cant if you are over cap (and
under budget) just sign studs in free agency.

Im not sure about other sports but in pro basketball the teams with budgets of
70-80 million have a huge advantage. Even when their top players retire/leave
via free agency they can go out and land the big fish in free agency....a cap
would stop that (but the budget level staying the same would still give them a
slight advantage and promote trading)

Hello
So it looks like there is no heavy interest in another football league with
modified rules.
bye MJ
