Round 3: Melrose Red Raiders 34, at Buckland Sabercats 17

Melrose runs roughshod over us in the AFC championship game, two weeks after we
beat them on the road. Our best defensive lineman watches from the bench:

 501 M.Holt DE 30 6 5 2 5 6 6 10 0 21 22 -S-R-- C C OLB

33: #14 UCLA 84, at Washington 74
We started the season great, only to fall apart in the second half. Trying to
salvage something to end the season, but have to play with a patchwork lineup
because our #rebounder and key defender is ALSO watching from the bench:

1110 M.Rollin SF So 6 7 5 3 2 3 1 12 100 6' 7" 0.12 10 *S B A SG

Thought we might make the tourney this year but oh well, yet another trip to
the DIT . . .

Add to that my CBA Bulls collapse in the playoffs after we lose a starter for
like 75 games in Game one of the first round.

 907 I.Rodriguez 9 7 6 1 2 2 5 19 0 0 0.00 85 G 26 17 A A G

What else? Lose my star goalie of course!

BAD

Sorry about that - fat fingered a couple keys....

I was going to post my frustration with my terrible luck not just in a day but
the pro football year in all three leagues I am in.

Lost two games again today one on a Special teams TD the other just plain bad
luck. Had the lead late and couldn't hold them or get in FG range.

In CEL I have never had this bad of luck. We have lost 7 games in a row and
EVERY one was some quirck to lose the game. Today's was the Special teams work.
Good coaches in that league but if luck was even I would have a couple more
wins.

The only good news is that I can spend some time in my offensive playbooks and
try some things outside the box. It won't matter as we aren't going anywhere
anyway.

I didnt even mention my CEL team. Like we arent bad enough, in the same game
last week we lost our best OL AND best DL.

My CEL team really bothers me. My third season in the league, and I just cant
get any traction. Last season and this, we just keep losing close games.
Despite having high draft picks, I keep on drawing duds there. Oh well, guess I
cant win in every league.

I played the stock pro set offense in CEL today knowing I was in for a tough
game against a division rival and being frustrated after the last game.

I am disappointed in myself as I couldn't even finish reading the PbP. It just
wasn't fun as I made zero effort to win this one. Lost my #1 DT in the process.

Lesson learned to me...Play my game even if the sim hates me in a season at
least then I have the off chance the luck will go my way.

This probably wont help you feel much better.

A couple games back, I set my offenses and defenses and havent changed them
since. All I do is designate opponents key WR and make any depth chart changes
needed due to injuries.

Result? 3 straight wins.

Side effect? This is the only football team Ive ever coached, where Im not even
interested in reading the pbp.
