I have been on both sides of this so know it comes with the territory but
today's games were definately on the bad side.

EPBL

Closer comes in the 8th for some reason, has a 0.44 ERA and only three blown
saves all year. Blows up badly after an error and we lose....

CEL

Bi-Season match up with Randy Rhodes Columbus team. Several key moments
including a 3rd down roughing call going into half, offense scores a whopping
three points and we lose...Again... to this team.

FEL

Last but not least the killer, an interception returned for a TD against us, 3
missed FG's and we are out of the post season although outplayed the opposing
team, just not enough. (And it was a good team - no offense)

We'll see how the rest of the week plays out. Can't get much worse...

there have been days when I've lost

3 pro Football games, a college football game, a college basketball game all in
the same day.

after I lose the first 3, I'm usually like should I even read this right now?

Ahh Yes but we made up for it the next day in CCEL taking on my nemisis Kansas
State and winning 49-3. We were gifted with 6 turnovers so luck played a huge
part.

I like to think like some of the Nascar guys that there is only so much luck in
the luck bank, I may have just spent mine. :)

I just hate it when TDs get wasted in a huge blowout. Two seasons ago my USC
team was struggling through the season on offense, losing several close games.
Then out of nowhere I obliterate a conference opponent 58-7 or some absurd
score like that. Now, I was happy for the win ... but would have much rather
won something like 21-7, and saved some of those touchdowns for other games.

I've seen enough of these so it isn't really a crisis anymore: big underdog on
the road in CBEL DIT today, up by 8-points with 3 minutes to play, have a
severe case of the dropsies and the opponent ties it late (let alone that they
had like 3 shots to win in the closing seconds), then lose in overtime. Did I
mention my conference-leading scorer was injured early in the second half and
left the game? After another starter was injured in the previous game? And it
was Coach Bob that beat me? GRRRR! There, now I feel better!

CCEL Idaho didn't get enough of a strength of schedule from a loss to Purdue to
move up past 19th. Two spots short of promotion. In five seasons at Idaho,
I've come up one win short of promotion (top 17) five times, with three of
those times finishing 18th or 19th.

On the bright side, all of my good players are underclassmen, so I expect to
have enough talent next season to overcome my bad coaching.

Another one..No complaints but it would have been nice to get one of these
today....

Lost World Series to Chicago AL EPBL

Lost National Championship to Wake Forest CCEL
