I participate in the WBL baseball sim. Sometimes I'll think of a player I
haven't looked at in a while, curious about how he's performed since I last
checked. It's cumbersome scrolling through all the players in the league if I
don't know his current team. Is anyone else interested in a search feature,
similar to 'Search Coaches' that would indicate player information when you
searched by surname?

I'd also love to be able to search team names, which would be nice if you were
looking for the coaching history for a particular team.

Just go into Teams>Players and bring up a list of every player. Then use your
internet's Find feature to search for his name. Shortcut key is ctrl-F for the
Find feature.
The only time consuming thing is bringing up the entire league's list of
players.

Actually its a very good idea.
Although, there is a way around it. you go to "players" and then you do a ctrl
F and you type in the name.
Its a longer process than to just type in the name of the player.

I'm unable to get your suggestion to work. The search results are "text not
found".

Brian, did you filter so that all of the players are showing? You need to
filter by something like Contact, and make sure Minimum Stats are set to No,
but once you get all of the players showing he should be there.
Unless you're talking about someone who is retired.
