Happened to me every year, most of my walk ons are better then the recruits I
can get. Guess I just have to wait till I get lucky and have a good season and
my prestige might just go up to.

Don't get frustrated. Since walkons reflect players that really want to go to
your school even if it wouldn't otherwise have enough prestige to attract a
player at that level, its not unusual at MSSt's prestige in Tier 1 that you
would get some players every year better than you can recruit. Email one of the
experienced coaches whose style you like and I'm sure most would be willing to
share their recruiting strategies and other views on how to build up the
program.
