If you put the same number of points on a recruit in 2 or more different
groups, is there anyway to predict which group the bid for that recruit will be
made from?

If I remember correctly, he will be taken from the first group in your list,
assuming of course that he is 'available for signing' in each group when he
comes up for bidding (i.e., the priority ranking doesn't have other players
listed ahead of him and blocking him).

Don't bet on the first group being the one. I tried an experiment many a
season ago and while I don't remember the specifics, I do know that I now make
sure there is at least one point different when I list a player in seperate
groups.
