This would never happen in real life. Two of them would have already
transfered. Take a look at Kansas St's QBs.
499 V.Parkins QB Jr 6 1 6 10 9 4 5 2 17 -- ------ *S A A QB
3253 M.Collett QB Sr 5 8 5 10 8 5 3 3 20 -- ------ *S A A QB
385 A.Lee QB So 0 7 6 8 5 3 9 2 16 -- ------ *S A A QB
134 D.Jamerson QB Jr 9 1 1 8 4 2 4 7 13 -- ------ *S A A QB
1346 D.Vick QB Fr 2 1 7 8 6 1 3 2 12 -- ------ *S B A QB
Two are demanding playing time.
Players demanding playing time:
499 V.Parkins (QB)
385 A.Lee (QB)
This makes me angry because all the top 10 teams have all the talent where any
of these QBs could come in right way and start at Miss St.

When did AJ start posting as Max Dornan? :)

That is truly ridiculous
The worst offender here is Collett who after throwing for 3000+ yards in his
freshman season. Than he sat on the bench and then he was the backup. That's
so unrealistic its not even funny.
I also like Jamerson's situation - he's never thrown a pass at Kansas
State...ever. Thats pretty bad.
It will be interesting to see how Coach Rogers handles the two QB's demanding
PT

LOL... I pointed this out a while back, you should read my PR's... they are
literary brilliance.
If there are 500 QB's in CCEL- and you have the #1 ranked QB, you can have
#2,#3,#4 all sitting there quietly.
The AA Sr who never played a snap in his life would rather sit on the pine then
come to a loser school like Penn State where he would just pass for 5000 yards
and 40 TD's.

I agree that the transfer process could be tweaked to aid the game. Can someone
who's all fired up about this please suggest a real fix with specifics?! If we
can come to some generally agreed proposal to give Andy something might get
done about it.
Don't forget, however, that any fix needs to be simple enough to be easily
implemented, workable, and applicable to all teams every season at all Tiers.

It's not totally unprecedented in real life, though with transfers increasing,
it's less likely now.
USC has two 5-star QB's, a 4-star, a 3-star, and they've got another 5-star
coming in next year.
At RB, they signed a 5-star and three 4-stars...in the same class. And
followed that with two 5-stars and a 4-star the next year. So in two years,
they signed three 5-stars and four 4-stars to play one position. And they
still have five of them, including all three 5-stars.

So how many top QB prospects would USC have if the roster is reduced in
proportion to CCEL roster size of 65?
I can buy that any top CCEL program could have 2-3 top prospects at the same
position, but it would likely have to be because they are all in different
classes (so they wait their turn for someone to graduate), expect to compete
for the job directly (i.e., it isn't promised to anyone), are waiting to see if
anyone gets injured, and if no one leaves early then some of them would
transfer. One thing that RW has which we do not is QBs who can switch to
different positions if they really want to play. Maybe some of them want to go
into coaching and just enjoy sending in decoy play-calls from the sidelines?
Dunno what could be done to fix this in DEL, for at least two reasons, but I'll
point out another inequity anyway.
At Northwestern, I have a Fr punter sitting behind a senior -- last season he
thought he was the heir apparent when he signed, now I went out and promised PT
to a stud PN for next season. So, backup-guy KNOWS he will NEVER-EVER play
football at Northwestern. NEVER! EVER!! He's not that good (at least by Nwst
standards), but certainly could start for many teams in this league, just like
the QBs mentioned above. But he won't. He's on scholarship and unlikely to
advance even to A-level by the time he is a junior, so he won't make a demand
that I won't meet. Which is also to say: it is at least somewhat realistic
that some players will just stick around and be a 'team player' (maybe Finley
can make tackles on special teams? I guess we'll never know, but he must think
so) and get their free education. I would cut him if I could; I'd certainly
let him transfer if I could -- I could use the scholarship for someone else.

Here's my proposal albeit without enough thorough consideration yet to make
sure that unintended consequences don't bite us:
1) Any upperclassman behind a younger player with a PTP at QB, PK, and PN
transfers or graduates at the next opportunity
2) Using the same algo used by players to determine how they respond to ptp's
(with all players set to the same desire for "pt" so everything is the same),
any non-QB/PK/PN upperclassman who would Doubt, Highly Doubt, or Ignore a ptp
based on the existence of a younger player at every position he could play
should transfer UNLESS (again, like the ptp responses) he believes the younger
player will be leaving early.
Frankly, I can't see how to modify the recruiting process to avoid multiple
high end players at the same position, other than PK/PN/QB, without giving up
the ability to move players to almost any position and no improvement is worth
giving up that feature IMO.

Eric, USC does bring those guys in, but they don't all stay.

SOLUTION:
For starters:
Pro Prospects List means you demand PT.
the fact I have C rated QB screwing up my team, and someone else can carry 3 AA
rated reserves is quite irritating.
