I don't have much experience in running the option, this walk on looks to have
some of the skills, minus the all important RS attribute. What are your guys
thoughts on this player & running the option?
Here's my back up,

I will have a ton of talent at TB & a bit less at WR, so the option is a
possibility.

He'll run it fine, IMO.
I think you get a lot less -5's when your QB has some option skill.

Or just turn up the rollout percentage so that he breaks off on scramble's
since that seems to be the biggest gain run play for a QB.

Yeah, I might experiment a bit with it this season, who knows yet for sure. I
have never had a 10 speed 7 weight QB, just wondering if anyone else has & ran
an option. 2 rush hurts a bit but QBs can't fumble the ball.

QB's do fumble the ball on options.
I ran it with Lostao, he once fumbled 3x on 4 carries.
He was only a 8 speed, 2 rush with no size and he frequently had
5-10 yard runs and he was dumb.

Oh, did not know that, that makes me scared to run it now. I could alway throw
in a few option plays a game, if it works, I'll run more of them.

I have about the same QB, but not nearly as talented
4125 M.Hodgson QB So 8 7 1 6 1 2 2 0 8 -- ------ *S C C QB
Since he can't throw at all, I might have to go to the option also.

I think it's worth it, you get far less negative carries.

This is college - a Ps=6 QB can throw reasonably if not well enough to support
a more than a 50% passing attack. He's complete about 55% of his passes so long
as you stick to quicks and mostly curls. Since he's also weak-armed and dumb,
you'd need to do that anyway.

If you go option make sure to use multiple holes and take your FB out of some
plays to balance it out and give your QB some inside carries.
My QB did Ok last year with these atributes...

O.Dunhoo QB Sr 3 3 8 8 8 1 7 0 15 *S A A QB
The 39 sacks at an average of -5 really skew the numbers take those out and you
get about 96 rushes for 357 yards or 3.7 yds a carry.
