Yep... UCLA had no business being there. They couldn't compete, they'll get
blown out by 30....

blah,blah... SEC... blah,blah.

Great Championship Game.

Congrats AGAIN, Michael.

Yep, many congrats Michael. It was a great game to read. That penalty at the
end was a killer, I thought I was going to have 80 or 90 seconds to get a FG
try but it wasn't to be. It was a very risky strategy leaving Brophy on an
island against your 3rd WR all game and it hurt me there at the end.

I'm proud of my team though. We faced a great team with a great coach today and
showed we could hang in there. That gives me a big boost.

Yeah kudos to Alaister and his UCLA squad. Definitely put up a good fight and
deserved to be there. Great game.

But c'mon AJ don't diss us SEC do-wellers because of the pirate tactics and
swagger of one coach. His bitterness shouldn't counteract what the rest of us
have done. It's a good conference but it is sad to see Burley jump over to
Texas A&M.

Congrats to Michael on the chmpionship, and to Alaister for the great season.
I love CCEL!!

Great game - congrats to you both! And all hail Michael, one of the few who has
built multiple teams into championship contending (and winning) dynasties.

Congrats on a great season, Alaister. Like many people, I was skeptical of
UCLA's ability to hang with "the big dogs". I guess you proved us wrong.
Excellent job!

Look for a scramble to fill the giant power vacuum where Griffes was too in Big
10 country.

Thats a lot of good recruits filtering down (hopefully)

Yes, watching the Big Ten should be interesting.

First will be the scramble to replace MSU, especially as Northwestern may even
get knocked down to a 19 (#14 overall)although the Heisman PRs might keep them
high enough. Michigan, Iowa and Penn State would seem to be favourites.

The second interesting bit is watching the Big Ten compete with the Pac-10.
UCLA and Washington may both go up to a 20 this year and both will have their
eyes on the perennial success that Northwestern and Michigan State have
enjoyed. The Big Ten recovered to finish 4th in the conference ratings (really
third if you don't count Independents) but it was tight for much of the year
and with the influx of new coaches into Pac-10 we'll be looking to compete with
the Big 12 soon.

The Big12 just picked up Red Burley, who moved from Auburn to Texas A&M.

Alec Schwartz took over Texas a couple of seasons ago.

The North is already stacked with Rodgers, Ellis, and Henry.

pac 10, big 12, and SEC are filling up.

It's the natural cycle of things.

I think its actually harder to get demoted out of Tier I these days so we may
run a higher percentage of filled programs for the near future.

I still don't ever thing we'll really fill up.... it's just been one of those
things for so long.
