I've been reading a book by Lindsey Williams.. and it more or less makes me
sick to my stomach.
I'll share these excerpts-
"we have just discovered and proven another pool of oil as big and maybe even
bigger than the Prudhoe Bay Field. This is phenomenal beyond words." He again
said, "There is no energy crisis. Now we can build a second pipeline—now we can
produce not only 2 million barrels of oil every 24 hours, but we can produce 4
million barrels of oil every 24 hours. Chaplain, this is what we as oil company
officials have been waiting for."
He went on lo say, "Chaplain, America has just become energy independent." I
must repeat that ... this high official of ARCO said, "America has just become
energy independent."
how about all the rest of that oil at Prudhoe Bay? How about the fact there was
as much crude oil on the North Slope of Alaska as in all of Saudi Arabia? What
about Gull Island, of all things?
"Three wells have been drilled, proven, and capped at Gull Island. The East
Dock well also hit the Gull Island oil pool. . . . For forty miles to the east
of Gull Island, there has not been a single dry hole drilled, although many
wells have been drilled. This shows the immensity of the size of the field.
The Gull Island oil find is even larger than the Prudhoe Bay field, which is
presently producing more that two million barrels of oil every twenty-four
hours."
I suggest anyone who thinks they know about oil, research Gull Island and oil

add these interesting tidbits...
Until 2000, all oil in the world is traded in US dollars. The Kissenger deal
made in the 70s is an established fact. The effect of moving from dollars to
euros by Saddam in 2000 is fact.
One of the other few countries which is now off the US dollar for their oil....

PS...
I've found some rebuttles-
but none from anyone that isn't somehow involved with the US gov't, or someone
with their own agenda.
I'm sure the powers that be would say "conspiracy"... but so many of these so
called "conspiracies" have been proven correct in the past 10 years..... I
don't think anything should be taken lightly.

I believe it's already an approved area since there has been coring there.
Before you go off on your anti-Democrat kick, you might want to do some
reading.
After all you can blame Kissinger for part of this and he was a Democrat, so
that could make you feel good.

You're right. We shouldn't place 'blame' on anyone. Prudhoe bay is only sitting
right next to ANWR, so I'm sure the scenic views are similar. We probably
shouldn't be drilling in either place.

there isn't really a need to open up the Anwar or the Florida Coast when there
is already millions of acres approved and leased for drilling- which are
intentionally not being developed..
Can you explain that?

drill at Point Thomson. However, they have not produced any oil or gas from the
tracts.
The lack of activity prompted the state to try to reclaim the leases in late

It sounds to me like Exxon "DOESN'T WANT TO FIND OIL"....? Yet Congress wants
to do things they know are purely lip service like the Florida Coast?

Of course. Being a trained auto technician with 35 years experience I should
have no problem being able to explain WHY oil is "intentionally" not being
developed by the US government or a multitued of oil companies.

if it is anything that could be contradictory, then your responses are
dismissive or sarcastic.
If nothing more at least your consistent in your blind support of all things
oil.
I'll take it that you can't immediately refute it as something that holds
credibility.

that way. If you want answers to your big-oil-are-crooks concerns, then go ask
them. Otherwise, you're just doing the same thing by making them seem like they
are the mighty illuminati group that controls the world. And, if they are, then
why are you seeking answers when you already know them?
