57 states huh?

Date: Thu May 15 19:30:32 2008
Sender: Kendell R Jillson

That's so misleading...He was clearly stating that there are 60, since he
didn't count Hawaii, Alaska, and the state he hadn't been to yet (South
Dakota).

I think this would have been clearly avoided if he just wore the flag pin from
time to time.

All candidates will say something stupid eventually.

On the score of saying things that makes them look ignorant, I'd say McCain is
trailing quite badly.

Date: Thu May 15 23:56:23 2008
Sender: Joshua MacOscar

Has he said anything that a first grader can correct?

"On the score of saying things that makes them look ignorant, I'd say McCain is
trailing quite badly."

McCain shouldn't give up so easily. I know Bush has all the ignorant records
sewn all up, but you still have to give it a good ol'college effort.

Best of Bush... (very funny video)

Best of Bush really had me hoping it was porn.

You gotta admit, 57 states-with one more to go, has to be a classic. A day or
two ago, we get another classic. Did you hear him get asked a tough question on
job loss by a woman reporter? He tells her "Hold on one second, sweetie". And
never answers her question!
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/sleuth/2008/05/sen_obamas_sweetie_seems_unfaz.html

In the end, we have a presidential candidate who attended a church taught by
a racist for 20 years, is a sexist who won't answer questions on job loss, and
doesn't know how many states are in the country he is seeking to lead for the
next 4 years.

Nader is starting to look feasable. LOL

Date: Fri May 16 08:27:30 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

and the guy who led for the past 8 -

is a former coke head and partyer who was an air national guardist with a
lousy record, who drove every business he touched into failure and could barely
use English while being controlled by a neo-con ideology that drove the country
into war internationally and recession domestically.

thats a great resume.

and McCain LOST TO THAT GUY- so that says a lot about him.

Date: Fri May 16 08:34:31 2008
Sender: Kevin Caery

"is a former coke head"

Of course, Obama's familiar with the blow too, and has no military service
background. And he lost in 2000 to some nobody who certainly isn't a two-term
president. :P

Date: Fri May 16 08:52:08 2008
Sender: Jeff Luddingsmash

Hey if she had a question about job loss, she probably should have asked Bush.
Apparently he's the expert on the subject.

Date: Fri May 16 09:05:03 2008
Sender: Jason Stafford

There would be one more job available to a man if she had been in the kitchen
where she belongs ;)

Date: Fri May 16 09:16:34 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

"is a former coke head"

and I care about that about as much as I care about Obama's pastor.

NOT AT ALL.

But these are the critical voter issues for the nations white, rich, well to
do, non-military serving voters.

Date: Fri May 16 13:27:43 2008
Sender: Jeff Luddingsmash

Jason, I disagree strongly. Women belong in nice cushy office jobs with 6 digit
salaries. Men belong on the golf course.

Date: Fri May 16 18:11:39 2008
Sender: Brian Pate

After reading the many compelling arguments and deeply researching the topic at
hand, I'm with Luddy on this one....

Date: Fri May 16 18:52:34 2008
Sender: William Johnson

" "is a former coke head" and I care about that about as much as I care about
Obama's pastor. NOT AT ALL. "

Funny how your first concern with Bush is his coke habit, but you find no
problem with Obama's coke habit. Why is that?

Date: Fri May 16 19:04:01 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

"NOT AT ALL." was my quote.

I personally don't have a problem with either. (like I said again). I know
righteous Republicans do- thats why I said it.

I vote based on what is best for me and my family, not some soapbox morality.

Date: Fri May 16 20:53:23 2008
Sender: William Johnson

The entire thing was 'your' quote, except the double quotation part. Why do you
list Bush having a coke habit as being a bad thing, then say Obama's coke habit
is of no concern to you? You obviously have a problem with Bush doing coke or
you wouldn't have listed it as the first major concern you have with him. Why
the sudden change of heart? Is it because you were 'called' on the distinction?

Date: Fri May 16 21:39:03 2008
Sender: Joshua MacOscar

I simply hope Obama sticks to saying stupid things if he is elected. Our
nation's bloggers need easy jokes to rehash.

Date: Fri May 16 22:16:29 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

William-

I obviously think it is ridiculious how conservatives like to look at what
someone did 20 years ago, who they slept with, etc... thats why I listed it.
I listed the general media things.... there is no hidden meaning in the
order.

cocaine isn't a big deal to me. There is nothing here.

Date: Fri May 16 22:22:34 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

whats really "stupid" are all the Right Wingers who don't realize we have 57
voting territories

the 50 states +
Puerto Rico
U.S. Virgin Islands
American Samoa
Guam
Northern Mariana Islands
Wake Island
Johnston Island

oh goodness- he misspoke!! "Mission Accomplished" rightwingers-

Date: Fri May 16 22:52:16 2008
Sender: Joshua MacOscar

What is REALLY stupid is taking a list off of some blog that is meant to defend
Obama's statement and not realizing that the Northern Mariana primary is for
Republicans and not Democrats.

What is REALLY SUPER stupid is taking a list off of the internet to defend a
stupid Obama statement regarding voting territories and not realizing that said
list does not include the District of Columbia.

What is REALLY SUPER DUPER stupid is defending a stupid statement by saying
that there are 57 voting territories (when it appears that there are 56), which
just makes it appear as though your cult leader things Guam is a state.

AJ, really, you play rugby, so you can't wear panties. Lighten up. Obama said
something dumb. If McCain said it, you'd be on here with 19 threads about how
his age is getting to him and that he is really slipped up and revealed the
details of the secret expansionist plan he has concocted with Exxon that will
annex seven oil producing countries as new states.

Date: Fri May 16 23:03:47 2008
Sender: Joshua MacOscar

I forgot about the one more state to go thing. That makes it 58. Cult members
all over the world will split up Texas into two states to explain that. They
did hold a caucus and a primary after all.

THE LEADER IS INFALLIBLE.

THE LEADER DOES NOT MISSPEAK.

Sender: William Johnson

" I obviously think it is ridiculious how conservatives like to look at what
someone did 20 years ago "

No, that isn't obvious. What is obvious is that you discredit Bush for drug
use but say drug use is no dishonor for Obama. You are not a conservative, so
blaming them for something you believe won't fly. Give a real reason for the
difference between drug use from Bush and drug use from Obama. If you just
misspoke and were wrong, admit it and get it over with. Otherwise, explain the
difference.

Date: Sat May 17 08:01:03 2008
Sender: Brian Dust

Barrack Obama's campaign, sponsored by Heinz 57. John Kerry as VP?

Date: Sat May 17 08:11:05 2008
Sender: Kyle Mayhugh

Do any of you really think that Obama believed there were 57 states?

Or do you believe he misspoke and are looking for cheap points? Are you ashamed
of yourselves for being part of everything that is wrong with politics (outside
of the fact that most politicians are corrupt, of course)?

Date: Sat May 17 08:17:15 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

William-

I've done cocaine- I don't care. I don' care about prostitutes, I don't care
about marijauna, I don't care about LSD, I don't car about rock concerts, I
don't care about homosexuals, I don't care about porn.

Those are your issues- not mine. I'll vote regardless of that stuff.

So I'm not answering it again.

Date: Sat May 17 08:25:55 2008
Sender: AJ Perko

Josh-

If McCain said something----

actually no, Conservatives have been trying to nickle and dime Obama with petty
stuff for the past 3 months. Whether it's a pin on a lapel, something his wife
says or whatever-

JOHN MCCAIN has plenty of gaffes, here's my favorite:

"There are neighborhoods in Baghdad where you and I could walk through those
neighborhoods today."
-- days prior to visiting, while being flanked by 22 soldiers, 10 armored
Humvees, and two Apache attack helicopters

Date: Sat May 17 08:34:35 2008
Sender: Kyle Mayhugh

If we really want to play these games, McCain has mixed up Shiite and Sunni
(that's sort of an important thing to understand with U.S. foreign policy being
what it is).

McCain also recently stated that Reagan did not negotiate with Iran to get our
hostages home. How utterly unaware of recent U.S. history do you have to be to
say that?

Date: Sat May 17 15:00:49 2008
Sender: Joshua MacOscar

"Or do you believe he misspoke and are looking for cheap points? Are you
ashamed
of yourselves for being part of everything that is wrong with politics (outside
of the fact that most politicians are corrupt, of course)?"

I was just making light of a dumb statement. I apologize for insulting the
leader.

William,

To be Fair AJ truly has stated that those things don't matter to him in the
past repeatedly. He has ignored them with other people, even W. He will pull
up 'funny'(At least to him) quotes and harp on them, but as far as voting he
has shown NO consideration to those (drugs, etc) things.

Date: Sun May 18 10:12:41 2008
Sender: Mike Boofer

Kyle,

When someone says something THAT far off the wall, of course people will find
it humorous. It is. Of course, ANYONE basing ANY part of their vote on this is
completely insane. I have a book of Bushisms. A book of Stupidest comments in
sports. They are funny.

"Jason, I disagree strongly. Women belong in nice cushy office jobs with 6

I concede to you a very well made, and cogent point.
