As a celtics fan, i dislike both him and the knicks, so I was kind of upset
that he got fired. But in his defense, he does have a pretty good draft
history in his time with Toronto and the Knicks. I think Ric Bucher from espn
had a pretty good line on the radio when he said something like being an
advisor is a probably the best role for him, since he can help with the draft
and not have to worry about signing stiffs like Jerome James or make trades for
Starbury or Eddy Curry etc.

It's just sad with the Leafs.
It's bad when Carolina fans can laugh at a once proud team.
I think it helps the NHL to have Toronto competitive.
As for thomas, he has drafted well but, it's a bit easier to draft when you
have high picks.
He was a great player and a really bad coach.
There arn't many great players who become great coaches or gms.
