This might normally be considered bad taste, but since Oil Empires is not a
SPORTS sim, I think it's ok...
How many of you all have ever played Oil Empires?

It's a completely free sim based on war.
I was wondering how many of you, if any, might be interested in joining up and
forming our own cartel for the next casual round?
This round ends on April 19, so the next one should begin right after that.
That gives us a couple of weeks to see who all might be interested. If you've
never been there, go check it out (you can still open a free account for the
end of this round just to play around with it). I'd like to be able to get
enough of us to form a cartel just to have fun - doesn't matter if we suck, and
if we have players just learning as we go.

Fitzy - do you think we can throw together a DEL cartel? ;)
I mean by the looks of it I'd say NO. But I thought that might be more fun than
a round-long war with a monster cartel. The OE politics are getting a little
silly. I'm all for coming back as aliases next round and just having this
cartel for nothing but the fun of it. IF we can generate enough interest!
What about the rest of you guys?!
None of you guys who are so much into Axis and Allies or Simcountry or
whatever would be interested in joining together in a very cool war game?
Shoot...it's FREE. If you don't like it you can leave. But I'm betting after
you all learn the ropes that you'll love it!

I am with Chris on this, any of you guys that are into Simcountry would love
this game. It is a very addicting game, and it is free to play. I've been
playing for almost a year, and if there is enough interest, Chris, I will be in

Guys, i started playing this game, its very interesting, and its free. not as
complicated as simcountry with all the zillion options.
you should really join during this round just to get used to it, and then, we
wiltart a brand new one.

AJ, you can log on whenever you want to collect your cash...the more you can do
it, the better. As for upgrading and stuff, do it as you can afford it, and
have time...there are no real rules as far as that goes. Obviously, the people
who can sit at a computer all day have an advantage as far as ranking
goes....but it isn't required to be a good player.
