Figured I'd "stir the pot" a little prior to the Big Dance Party.
Something I've always wondered about: how are the nominations for CBEL
All-Americans decided? It's beyond the comprehension of this poor old drunken
Leprechaun how some of the guys ended up on the nominations list! I discussed
the omission of Dayton SF Nicholas "Orange Nehi" Evans in last week's Demented
Diary column, but there are even more questionable omissions/inclusions.
Take a look for yourselves. I've had great players omitted from these lists
(both in CBEL and CMEL) in the past, and have seen some of my "lesser lights"
somehow get nominated, even when they couldn't chew and drink a bottle of green
beer at the same time!
Any thoughts?
