I have been reading on here that there is a penalty for changing positions.
How long does this penalty last. I had my positions arranged before training
camp but my team stunk out loud in camp and all my new guys got worse. Now
major changes are in order. How many games does the penalty last for?

I don't think anyone (save Andy) knows for sure - My estimate is this.
Day 1 - 15%
Day 2 - 10%
Day 3 - 6%
Day 4 - 4%
Day 5 - 2%
Day 6 - 1%

I don't know if anyone knows the exact difference, but if your team is better
off with the players changing positions, I've always made the changes.

Does it really change if you are returning the guy to what their natural
position is? I didn't see a change when I did it.

You won't ever see a change in his abilities from moving positions. He/she
will just play more poorly. I will try to make the change when it matters
less. Like right before an ex game - or a game where I have a huge advantage
(against a very weak opponent). That way the change is very unlikely to cost
my team a win.
