Ok, so I was lucky enough to get this guy, now, what do I do with him? IRL,
he would be a guy that drives to the hole a LOT and gets fouled a LOT, and if
they play off him, he would pull up and hit a 12 footer... So, how do i
translate that to dolphin world and get this guy his shots? In the scrimmages
so far, he has stunk really bad, so what do you guys think!?
Thanks
Todd / Alabama

He won't take a SHOT for some reason, like at all! In four scrimmages he has
taken three shots...
Marc Byers, I think this guy is very similar to Husar, your shooting guard, so
how do i get him to shoot? Really confused at the moment!

I've never had much success with driving shooting guards. I find they just
don't get that many shots.
As such, I'd play him at point guard. Set his passing defense to PG and
shooting distance to SF or maybe even PF against small guards. See how that
works.

Hey Todd, I've generally had no luck with these driving players, but last
season both my guards were driving guards (Husar and Wright) and I played
PD-SG, SD-SF, forcing them to drive a little bit, but not right into the heart
of the defence where they couldnt get shots off. It worked out well with both
shooting solid %s and my guards carrying a lot of my scoring load last season.
Husar's success has seen me throw Diaz into the backcourt this coming season

Todd,
Good to see Baltitas go to a good home. Hope he works out for you. As far as
I am concerned his strength is as a defensive player. Any offense you get is
bonus. While I was sad to see him go I have never been a big fan of SG's with
his scoring/shooting profile. If it was reversed...then you have a player
moving to the pros in a season or two. Also if he was taller you could play
him at SF. Hopefully Marc's suggestions pan out.

Ugh, I really can not get this guy to shoot... I mean is he scared?! I think I
am going to have to just play him at PG and let him figure things out. I set
his depth at PG / SF, but that has not helped. I have turned motion down to
less, so he would drive more, and again that has not helped.
Any other suggestion on how to just get him to shoot.
Btw, his looks suck.. like 0.4-0.8

If his looks suck you probably don't want him shooting more. How's the guy
covering him anyhow?
