Hi Guys,
I am located in Australia so I am barred from downloading games and NBA.com and
Google Video, which I am quite pissed about!! Does anyone know how to mask IP
addresses and makes it looks like my computer is actually "American" or does
anyone know any other ways to download the games?

Just out of curiosity, why our those sites banned? Is it like a government
stipulated thing or something?
Anyhow, doesn't a router hide the IP address of your computer?

Don't know why non-US accesses are denied... Not even sure if the site is doing
it via IP addresses. Just trying to finger out what to do to get the games...

Your provider is Australian, therefore they can block anything that is not
American if they want to.
I would say going through a proxy would be the best way to prevent the site to
know where you're from, but then again, some sites can detect whether you use a
proxy and block you anyway. But it's worth trying.

proxy is definately the way to go. we have personal email blocked at work but
you can get around it through a proxy site.

i never tried this one. i generally don't trust stuff that requires me to
install anything on my computer, especially when they're free. i do tend to
trust stuff from www.downloads.com i think they're more legit.
