ahhh.... opening day
I rise up at 930am ET, the smell of fresh living room, the feel of the
keyboard, the beauty of my LCD monitor powered by my 600.00 Nvidia Video card,
the smudges of my two year olds fingers across the screen, I scratch myself as
I plop down in my underwear having not yet brushed my teeth or hair, the look
of disdain from my wife as the first thing I do when I get up is check DEL....
I can hear John Fogerty in the background now as I log on to check the
PbP....
Thats opening day in the EPBL.

I'm with you AJ.
Opening day and then the draft starts on Friday night.
I love EPBL, it would easily be my only league if I ever have to go down to one
....
20 minutes till opening day.
I generally read the PBP on every game (major and minor) for the first two or
three weeks of the season then I just read the major league PBP and the box
scores of the minor league games.

and minor.... LOL.
your more hardcore than me. I read every major PBP and only check the minors
about once a week, more to see which players are kicking butt.
I love EPBL. It's competitive, the minor system is cool, it's relatively low
maintenance... (2 games perday)
I had to leave the other leagues when they went to 4 games per day, reading the
PbP just lost it's luster.

EPBL is really cool, not to mention that the draft system is way better,
because there is no attribute AA, BB etc... it really makes it the coache
scouting matter.

I'd be surprised if Tony Gwynn, Kirby Pucket, Wade Boggs, etc. never had 0-5
stretches.
