No pitcher is injures, everybody is 100%. All are right-handed. And yet for the
second time the SIM put in Hryb whose stats are so far IP = 2.3, ERA = 30.86,
OBP = 0.588 3 HR allowed.
And Watson has yet to throw a pitch.
My setting for late innings are Standard + LOOGy.
Why does the SIM keep choosing Hryb over Watkins?
(And yet, this defensive switch (3B <--> SS) is still happening against LHP.)

I believe that the sim has a tendency to start from the bottom of the long
relievers list in a blowout, which might or might not explain what you are
seeing.
The pitchers' stats are NOT used in picking pitchers, to my knowledge.
