One run game, my pitcher has had baserunners on against us all day but we are
still only behind 2-1...It's the bottom of 5 and we have runners on 2nd and
third with one out...Why do we not PH for him????

Kennedy on 3. Molina on 2. One out.
Batter: Gianoli (0.222 BA, 0 HR, 1 RBI, 0.263 OBA)
outfield shifted.
Takes, strike 1.
Swings and misses, strike 2.
Foul ball, strike 2.
Swings and misses, strike 3.
Strikeout.

We fail to score and then the pitcher, who has not been that effective, commits
the ultimate baseball sin in my book, the very next inning...

Gore on 3. Nardone on 2. Holland on 1. Two outs.
Batter: Kupferling (0.278 BA, 6 HR, 16 RBI, 0.350 OBA)
outfield shifted.
Takes Inside, ball 1.
Foul ball, strike 1.
Takes Outside, ball 2.
Takes, strike 2.
Takes Outside, ball 3.
Foul ball, strike 2.
Takes Inside, ball 4.
Walked.
1 RBI.

It ends up being the deciding run and we lose when we had a golden opportunity
at least for a sac fly earlier in the game.

I'm not saying this is an easy choice, or even if each of you would make the
same decision, but these are the kinds of games my team loses over and over
every season.
