only losing record against top 25:
0-2 vs #5 Oklahoma St
Only one top 25 team has a winning record against the #9 team who has played 7
different top 25 teams, yet the #7 team has not one a single game against a top
25 team. Overall records are similar, and the #9 team technically has better
offensive and defensive stats as a overall picture.
Again, I know this isn't a big deal in baseball, just trying to figure what the
computer is looking at.

It is presumably not looking at offense/defense rating. It looks at
wins/losses, and against whom (SoS), but my basic understanding is W/L is the
key factor. 2 more wins and 5 fewer losses is apparently enough of a
difference here.

Just for what it's worth I think Tennessee Tech has a better chance of winning
the CMEL national championship than NC State does.
