heck, I've already spent about 15 hours on my DRAFT LIST ... much less the
waiver wire list.
BTW, if you are new to EPBL, keep in mind that there are a few teams that
basically load up a whole second major league squad at AAA by going after a
BOATLOAD of players at minimum salaries during the first waiver wire.
To beat these guys, you simply need to bid at least .05 on the player since
they can't send older ML to the minors unless it's a .04 contract or less.

Thanks for the warning. Thats a great rule, some other Del leagues could use
that.

Red -- I overstated things just a bit.
A player who is 26 or OLDER will not go to the minor except on a .04 contract.
Younger minor leaguers are occassionally signed to a major league contract, but
because they are 25 or younger, they are still willing to play in the minors
with that deal.

26 and older is correct, but don't load up too much. If you sign 10 veteran
IFs to $0.05 you'll wind up cutting a bunch of them since they can't be sent
down.
The best thing is to bid $0.04 yourself. Gives you a lot of flexibility.

Of course, I'm having much more fun this offseason since I've found that people
are willing to trade certain types of players.
